PROJECT OBJECTIVES

For a hotel: power supply for staff accommodation and guest bungalows situated on pontoons.

CUSTOMER NEEDS

Ensure a secure and redundant power supply for the bungalows by installing two networks, each capable of handling the entire system load.

OUR SOLUTIONS IMPLEMENTED

Step up the voltage using two step-up transformers and supply watertight step-down transformers housed in technical enclosures, installed directly on the pontoons above the ocean.

MATERIAL USED

  • 2 oil-filled step-up transformers (400 kVA, 400 V / 5500 V) with fire-resistant oil containment basins,
  • 5 switchgear units (5500 V) for network protection,
  • 7 sealed step-down transformers (5500 V / 400 V, 50 kVA to 160 kVA).
