PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Provide the electrical supply for the lighting of a luge track consisting of 15 poles equipped with two 70w metal halide lamps each. Average distance of 234 meters between the poles, for a total length of 3500 meters.

CUSTOMER NEEDS

Respond to the strong constraint of an installation in high mountains, at an altitude between 2300 and 2950 meters. Minimize the cable cross-section as much as possible to facilitate implementation (difficulty of access).

OUR SOLUTIONS IMPLEMENTED

Transport electric energy at 950 V from a step-up substation. This substation powers supply VOLTAMAX transformers, transformers installed in a cabinet with two VOLTAMAX per cabinet. Cable section 950 V U1000R2V 2x16mm², without low voltage sub-network.

  • One PTS95 10 kVA step-up substation 230 V / 950 V, aluminium substation, indoor type installed in a room.
  • 30 VOLTAMAX 150M 950 V / 230 V transformers, VOLTAMAX installed in a cabinet
