The city had to decrease the energy consumption of a street lighting network using 64 HPS 150 W lamps.

Without affecting traffic or people’s safety.

REDUCING LIGHTING POWER BY 50% DURING THE PART OF THE NIGHT WHERE TRAFFIC IS SLOW, WHILE KEEPING A SUFFICIENT LIGHT LEVEL TO ENSURE SAFETY.
IN THE MORNING, THE LIGHTING PROGRESSIVELY RAISE UNTIL THE SUNRISE.
AFTER ONE YEAR OF USE, THE EQUIPMENT PRODUCED A SIGNIFIANT DECREASE IN ENERGY CONSUMPTION , EQUIVALENT TO 34% :
- 2009 : 51299 KW-H
- 2010 : 33920 KW-H

12 kVA Compacto dimmer (triphasis) , installed by the technical services of the city.

This dimmer is compliant with CEE

Equivalent of French « white certificat » also named ESC (Energy Saving Certificate).
