Railway Infrastructure

AUGIER offers equipment to power GSM-R communication in high-speed or regional trains, tunnel safety, remote energy shelters power supplies and heat exchangers.

AUGIER has carried out numerous projects to supply energy to remote receptors, all of which have low voltage sources along the railway.

AUGIER solutions combine a step-up station with one or more step-down substations.
These stations enable the reduction of cable sections and make it possible to supply energy to:

  • Signaling
  • Lighting and Emergency outlet power supply in Tunnels /Bridges
  • GSM-R communication
  • Pumps systems to limit rain constraint
  • Warming needles
  • Tunnel lighting
  • Power sockets inside tunnels

AUGIER’s step-down substations are watertight, IP68 and particularly robust. They can be installed in an underground pit.
