PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Power supply for ramp lighting, road equipment, traffic management, variable message signs, cameras, tolls and rest areas.

CUSTOMER NEEDS

Control the lighting from a permanently live 5500 V network using power lines, as radio waves are not permitted near an airport. The equipment to be powered is spread over 20 km.

OUR SOLUTIONS IMPLEMENTED

Create permanently energized 5500 V networks and use 5500 V cables to communicate and control lighting. Provide watertight equipment to be installed in pits.

MATERIAL USED

Two 5500 V CEP19 panels, each panel comprising five contactor feeders, One hundred watertight transformers, IP68, from 2 to 80 kVA 5500 V / 230 V, Forty MCEP coupling modules, enabling STEP3 power line communication, Forty AUGIER SLAVE communication modules for controlling the lighting.
