PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Providing the electrical power supply for the lighting of the security perimeter walls at Fujairah Airport, UAE.

Total length: two 8 km lines with a 2000 W SHP lamp every 320 meters, and a 1.5 km line for a building.

OUR SOLUTIONS IMPLEMENTED

Transporting electrical energy at 5500 V from a transformer station equipped with a 630 kVA 400 V/5500 V transformer.

 

  • THE SUBSTATION, WITH THREE FEEDER CONTACTOR, POWERS WATERTIGHT STEP-DOWN TRANSFORMERS INSTALLED IN PITS.
  • EACH TRANSFORMER POWERS ONE 2000 W LAMP, WITH NO LOW-VOLTAGE SUB-NETWORK.
  • POWER SUPPLY TO TED MTT TRANSFORMERS WITH 5500 V CABLES (3 X 16 MM²).

MATERIAL USED

One outdoor transformer, 630 kVA (+55°C), 400 V/5500 V. One CEP13 panel with three 5500 V feeder contactor. 50 watertight single-phase transformers, type TED MTT, 5500 V/230 V, 3 kVA (+55°C).
One watertight three-phase transformer, type TEH TTT, 5500 V/400 V, 100 kVA (+55°C).
