PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Power supply for the heating tracing of a 10‑inch pipeline over 3,000 meters.
Power supply for a heating resistance up to 160 °C, to reduce oil viscosity and enable transport between the offloading area and the storage area.

Transmission of 800 kVA distributed over 3,000 meters, from a single available power source located at the beginning of the installation.

OUR SOLUTIONS IMPLEMENTED

Electrical power transmission at 6,600 V from a single substation.
The substation, equipped with a 6,600 V fused switch feeder, supplies watertight step‑down transformers installed either inside cabinets or outdoors.
Power transmission is achieved using a 3 × 35 mm² aluminium cable.

MATERIAL USED

One oil‑immersed step‑up transformer, 800 kVA – 415 V / 6,600 V,
One switchgear panel with fuses feeder, 6,600 V,
Five watertight step‑down transformers, three‑phase, MODULO 160 kVA – 6,600 V / 690 V.
