PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Power supply to 144 wells (injectors, production wells, water and oil), dispersed over an area of 2,500 km². Power supply for instrumentation (metering pumps, sensors, solenoid valves, control panels).
The wells are intended for oil extraction, gas condensates, produced water, as well as gas and water injection.

CUSTOMER NEEDS

From ten electrical substations, 70 medium-voltage 5,500 V network feeders supply loads over several kilometers. Each 5,500 V feeder supplies between one and three step-down substations.

OUR SOLUTIONS IMPLEMENTED

Electrical power is transmitted at 5,500 V using a 3 × 35 mm² copper cable.
A watertight, buried transformer step-down the voltage from 5,500 V to 400 V and is connected to the low-voltage (LV) panel located in a separate area.

MATERIAL USED

144 watertight step-down transformers, three-phase, TER 25 kVA – 5,500 V / 400 V, designed for an ambient temperature of +55 °C. Transformers equipped with integrated 5,500 V fuses and ±5% tapping adjustments.
