PROJET OBJECTIVES

Powering remote receivers spread over 50 kilometres of track while retaining existing cables and tripling the power output.

OUR SOLUTIONS IMPLEMENTED

  • Step-up the voltage to 950 V to transport electrical energy using 3×50 mm² aluminium cable. Install two 950 V switches in the PTS95 cabinet to allow selection of the power source.

MATERIAL USED

  • 9 PTS95 outdoor step-up cabinets, 25 kVA, 400V/950V
  • 35 PTS95 outdoor step-down cabinets, 2 to 10 kVA, 950V/230V, with watertight transformer.
