PROJECT FEAUTURES

  • TOTAL POWER: 250 kVA
  • TRANSPORT VOLTAGE: 5500 V
  • NETWORK DISTANCE: 800 M
  • LOCATION: French Polynesia
  • YEAR: 2023

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Power supply of the bungalows of a hotel from the energy produced by solar panels (remote loads from solar panels).

CUSTOMER NEEDS

Inject the energy produced into an existing 5500 V network.

CUSTOMER NAME

Cegelec Polynesia

Transformer substation outdoor

OUR SOLUTIONS IMPLEMENTED

Elevate voltage of the inverters to inject the energy produced from the solar panels into the 5500 V network. Sealed transformers installed on the pontoons will restore the energy as close as possible to the bungalows.

MATERIAL USED

A 250 kVA 400 V / 5500 V 60 Hz low-loss step-up transformer designed for photovoltaic applications. 5500 V switch cells equipped with fuses to protect the network.

CUSTOMER BENEFITS

Sustainable power supply, contributes to the energy transition

Watertight (IP68) and corrosion-resistant transformers

Reduced cable cross-section
